Thank You!!!

Thank you so much for supporting my fundraising efforts, and more importantly supporting the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

It can be sometimes hard to really understand how a small donation helps others, but here is how your donations and support helped last year.

Last Year's Efforts
Last year, part of the money raised for the Million Dollar Challenge went to helping a teenager from Africa named Luvo. He and his sister had been tied to a set of railroad tracks in Africa to settle a village dispute. His sister did not survive; however he did, but he had lost both his legs. He had been walking on wooden pegs for most of his life until CAF came into the picture. After CAF located Luvo in Africa, they brought him to the US to help. On October 23rd, Luvo received a pair of prosthetic legs (each leg costing about $50,000) and a pair of Puma shoes. This was the first time since his sister died that he was able to walk. He went from being 3 1/2  feet tall to his natural height of 6 feet 3" (and he loves to play basketball). On the last day of our ride last year, we saw Luvo walking and the look of happiness on his face made riding down the coast worth every mile!

On behalf of Challenged Athletes Foundation,
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
